COVID-19 (Coronavirus) update – 26th March 2020
We would like to take the opportunity to express our concerns for the community, and we hope all our clients and their extended families are safe and well.
This has been another challenging week for the whole of Australia. Not only further lock-down requirements have been put in place, we are seeing retail stores close and substantially numbers of people out of work.
At VoxGroup we are continuing to work through the current scenario with our normal positive attitude and assisting our clients during these difficult times. If you need to get freight moved or purely want to have a discussion on the state of business, please call us. As many of us are working from home it can get isolated and sometimes a different voice or perspective can help.
Airfreight is just about at a standstill. Having said this, we have access to aircraft charter, which we are looking at with our partnered agent. The freighter is due to move from China to Melbourne in mid-April. If you are interested in this service, please speak to us as soon as possible as space is still at a premium and we will work to accommodate your requirements.
Seafreight is a challenge partly due to the lock-downs in Europe and partially due to blank sailings enforced by the shipping lines. Again, it does take some planning and flexibility on all parties and we can make this work.
Throughout the world most countries are in various stages of lock-down and whilst most are allowing trade to continue with border closures, social distancing and lock-downs – it is just business as usual.
At VoxGroup our network is made up of agents willing to find solutions to the needs of business to keep the supply chains open. Whether this is to charter aircraft, maneuvering between seafreight ports or a combination of both we are here to help. Speak to any of our staff and we can provide the assistance you need to get the job done. |
