Australian Ports – Industrial Action

We have been advised of an escalation of an industrial dispute between Svitzer and the maritime unions.

Svitzer has now advised the industry of an indefinite lockout from 12pm November 18^th for all employees.

What this means is there will be no movements in and out of Australian ports until the lock out is lifted.

Hopefully the matter will be resolved prior the to the lock out and there will be no effect on the ports.

As this matter continues to develop we will advise our clients accordingly.
