Operations Manager
As Operations Manager of VoxGroup, Mike’s role encompasses both VoxGroup’s practices in Sydney and Melbourne. Mike is a licensed Customs Broker in Australia and is fully accredited by the Department of Agriculture & Water Resources.
Prior to joining VoxGroup, Mike worked in several capacities in the freight and logistics industry, including large multi-nationals and small-to-medium brokerages, specialising in freight forwarding and customs operations.
With over 16 years of trade compliance experience, Mike has expert knowledge working through a diverse range of duty mitigation methods, including Tariff Classification, Tariff Concession Orders, Valuation, Duty Drawback, Free Trade Agreements, and available industry assistance schemes.
Mike also assists clients in understanding the intricate details of customs and trade compliance in order to identify, assess and mitigate risk. He holds a double diploma in Business, Leadership and Management from the MCI Institute of Australia and plans to complete an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) to further enhance his knowledge and aptitude.
